The place where Joe Reacher was murdered. I think writers are like sponges. Did she inherit that from her parents? Don't Know Jack (Hunt for Reacher, #1) by Diane Capri. Many of the reviews for this one (and I seldom read reactions or reviews first but I did this time because of my only getting the downloads in an out of order arrival and of varying lengths as they are- so I wanted their take of the book length beginning). Otto and Gaspar are by-the-book hunters who know when it's necessary to break the rules; Reacher is a stone cold killer. Blood Trails is published by Thomas and Mercer, and they've done a great job with the book. You got none of her very early history nuance in the later books. So the action in Deep Cover Jack takes place during a freak Thanksgiving snow storm that becomes a character in the story itself. The plot steals everything from The Killing Floor.
A Delightful Romcom. But with a daughter of his own, he finds himself developing a profound, and perhaps unwise, empathy for her distraught father. The writing is fast-paced, action-packed and character driven. Beth isn't afraid to tackle the hard stuff. Both male and female interview subjects are protective of Reacher and suspicious of Otto and Gaspar, usually because the original adventure is riddled with Reacher's illegal activities and the subjects don't want those old bodies to surface now.
