3Rd Gen With 4Th Gen Bumper
The people that use 4th gen rims. There was a photoshop on here a while back of a 4th gen (LS1 Style) front bumper on a 3rd gen firebird. Zepher did a chop awhile back and this is one I did.... # 6. Obviously you are going for the 4th gen look, so why not buy one?

If they are hard to come by in your area, dont you think the parts to put on your car are gonna be hard to find as well? If you look at the bumper on a 4th gen, it is pretty close to the body and wraps around much further than our 3rd gen bumpers do. Car: 1989 pontiac firebird formula. The car will clearly still be a thirdgen, with a little personal touch. I have yet to find ANY winch bumper that I like for the 3rd gen. The best option to me is the ARB, but still, it is a bit too much. It wouldn't be that hard to do. But I LOVE the AEV bumper. Axle/Gears: be damned if I know, it's not mine.
