On one hand I was elated as I approved of the ending, but on the other hand, I was so sad! I also felt like the ending was SUPER rushed. I spent most of the movie with my head cocked to the side wondering why the fuck I was supposed to care about these characters. But, as lovely as he is, I barely recognised Jeremiah. Okay, maybe you're right. I mean, she's already in college and is finishing her freshman year, so she just has to be different from the clueless little girl right? From not considering her feelings on movie night, to cheating on her during his little "frat vacation". Conrad feels increasingly agitated as the wedding day draws near, and an older friend of his advises him to tell Belly how he feels, even if it means breaking up the wedding. I'd rather not waste my time on her. Infidelity, marriage, heart-break, this book pretty much has it all. What I'm trying to say is, it would have been ok to have stayed true to yourself. This is horrible because something VERY IMPORTANT happens towards the end, but I didn't feel particularly happy. I urge you too, right now.
