In 2016 the Illinois Supreme Court appointed me to fill a vacancy after an extensive screening process conducted by 12 bar organizations. I am committed to ensuring that everyone who appears before the court is given an opportunity to present their case and be treated with respect and dignity without regard to their gender, race, sexual orientation, religion or financial status.
