The novel's conclusion is a lot trickier to nail down than any elements of the book. Let's talk about the elephant in the room, the ending. Hayes is up there as one of the most arresting, charming, engaging, sweet and genuine characters we've read. Solène and Hayes were two opposites, leading two completely different lifestyles who just seemed to fit but time would tell if Solène could live in Hayes' chaotic world. As for the story… Well, it's about an almost 40 year old divorcee who meets a 20 year old boyband member when she takes her daughter backstage at his concert. His power still intact. The setting, the narrator, the perspective – it can be literally anything you want, as long as the readers feel that contentment after reading the epilogue. I won't say much more on that front.
If you use this as a general rule, starting with the fantastic ending you have written, then you'll easily reach your desired word count by completion.
