How To Tighten Sway Bar Links
Steering wheel vibration might be caused by warped brake discs, steering rack issues, bad wheel bearings, etc. What would be the best way to cut it off anyway? Apply penetrating oil to the top and bottom sway bar end link bolts. Upon questioning the technical team, it turns out that they do throw in an Energy Suspension tube of lube with the Daystar bushings. If there's room, this might work. Wear safety glasses and gloves. Sure, there are flats on the stud on the original end links to get a backup wrench in there, but it's a joke, even with good penetrating oil and patience. If you can't see any damage and not certain if any movement when pried, a little work, but if you want to see if they are the reason for the noise, disconnect one end on each side, tie it back and take the car for a ride. The noise is amplified as you drive over rough terrain, speed bumps, and potholes. Tighten just until the bushings bulge, then back out 1/4 turn. Tighten the sway bar link nuts to 80 lb-ft. Hyundai sway bar links may also be called stabilizer links, anti-sway bar links, and sway bar end links.

Sway bar links go bad as your car covers a certain amount of miles. Why do you need load on the suspension when tightening the end links for a sway bar install? Choose high-quality OEM replacements or products from brands like MOOG. Trust me, I know a little about sway bars. The bolt is not spinning while this happens: #3 - Here are some up-close pics of the new sway bar.

You could also do it at the time of a tire everything is accessible. The FSM shows it s torqued at 120, but seems tighter than that. So there is no special tool for this, you have to cut it off, if you "round out" the hexagon hole?
