Donnie Bain has been an educator for more than twenty years as a middle school math teacher, Head of School, and Middle School Head. Two years later, she attended a summer session at the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain. He has also earned his Apple Teacher certification and Adobe Creative Educator Level 1 certification. Helen returned to the workforce with EdVenture Children's Museum, helping to foster the idea that "play equals learning" and is the key to life-long success. A graduate of Clemson University, Teddy Leaman has also worked in France as a teaching assistant and is pursuing an M. in French linguistics and pedagogy at Middlebury College. Kelly Turbeville joined the PEAK Program as Associate Director in the spring of 2017 after an early graduation with a degree in Wilderness Leadership and Experiential Education from Brevard College, where she was also a four-year letter winner in soccer. She earned a BA in Music Education from Fairmont State College in West Virginia. Mauldin Middle School singers have been invited to perform numerous times for the South Carolina Association of Middle Level Education annual conference in Myrtle Beach, SC. She and her husband Neil have been married for 21 years and have four children. As a first grade teacher, Catherine values all learning styles and the magic of learning through the eyes of our young students. Her oldest daughter Caroline is an elementary school teacher in Richmond, Virginia with her husband and 2-year-old son. Lynn first joined the Heathwood faculty in 2004, teaching 7th grade Humanities. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in Biology at Charleston Southern University, during which time she spent five months living in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
