Our Bared to You book review should leave no doubt about whether or not one should pick the book up. Not just ONE, but TWO main characters with damaged souls. I can't wait to see how their tumultuous story twists, turns and traipses towards its exciting end. Kristen Ashley has written something very beautiful. But sadly, this novel has used what might have been a very credible and almost insurmountable internal conflict and commoditized it, much like the bodies, the wardrobes, the interior décor and the characters. Hero has a controlling and obsessive desire for the heroine, including a jealous streak that is off-the-charts. I still don't find this book hot. Why would an established writer throw out an obvious re-write of FSOG and NOT ADMIT THAT IS WHAT YOU'RE DOING. So strong and honest.
Despite both having very messed up pasts, and both having their fair share of f*ck ups, they worked through everything functional and passionately in a way that deeply warmed me heart.
