Since 2014, the Knights of Columbus Mumford Council #365 have hosted an Annual Charity Golf Tournament. According to the golf tournament's committee chairman, Steve Stazko, "Over the past 32 years, this event has raised over $433, 000 for a variety of charities. " The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic fraternal organization that is dedicated to the guiding principle of charity. A. G. For the 33rd year, the Knights of Columbus of Howell/Jackson are organizing a golf tournament to benefit charities that meet the essential needs of local families. Cost: $520 per Foursome, or $130 per Golfer. Invite a guest to the awards dinner for $50. Sign on the practice green.
We can accommodate up to 144 golfers to participate, compete, and win prizes through out the course. In the past, our organization has supported the Somerset Community Food Pantry, backpack food programs throughout the public schools, the mentally handicapped, scouting programs, Special Olympics, and youth programs like the Somerset Basketball Association and Post Prom Party. Same day entries cannot be accepted Registration deadline July 19, 2022. These funds have been donated to local food pantries, local churches, and coats for kids in need and scholarships for college bound kids and much more! When: - 1:00 pm Shotgun Start. Through the use of a handicapping system even the less skilled golfer has the opportunity to win a tournament award. Competitions will be held at the Panorama Country Club, Panorama Village, TX and River Plantation Country Club, Conroe, TX. Fee includes 18 Holes of Golf with Cart & Buffet. LAPLACE — The Knights of Columbus, Ascension of our Lord Council 9623 will be hosting a Golf Tournament on October 14 at Riverlands Golf and Country Club in LaPlace. Tournament week includes; golf for men and ladies, a tour of Southern Star Brewery, Houston Astro's game, various meals, fraternalism, and charity. Awards will be presented after play. Golfers receive a golf cart, gift bag, access to driving range and practice green, hot breakfast and lunch, beer/water on the course and at lunch, long-drive and closest to the pin prizes, hole in one bonus prizes including a 2017 Chevrolet and a trip to the 2018 U. S. Open. There will be a four-person scramble, and the cost is $125 per player or $500 per team. For the fourth time in Texas, the 52nd Annual Knights of Columbus International Amateur Golf Association (K. C. I. Included are a box lunch, beer, soda, and water on the course, no-host cocktail reception and silent auction, followed by the awards dinner. Of course, goody bags are always part of the experience.

With the impeccable organization led by Brother Marco Piccotti and a wonderful crew of more than 30 brother knights, their family and volunteers, the golf tournament has become the flagship event of our council, in terms of participation (around 60 foursomes) and funds raised that surpassed well year over year's figures. This year's Annual Ed Kavanagh Greenwich Knights of Columbus Golf Outing will be held at the Saxon Woods Golf Course in Scarsdale, NY on Monday, October 17, 2022. The 33rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, May 15 (rain or shine) at the Pine Barrens Golf Club on 540 South Hope Chapel Road in Jackson. There will be putting contests all day. This year's proceeds will benefit Deborah Heart & Lung Foundation, Catholic Charities Diocese of Trenton, Ronald McDonald House, Operation Homefront, Stomp the Monster and others. To fulfill this, the Somerset Knights of Columbus supports a variety of community activities and events. There are opportunities for $500 hole sponsors and $100 hole signs. Over the past 17 years we have given back to the local community, over $125, 000!!! In July of 1969, the first tournament was held in St. Louis, Missouri and was concluded with a banquet and dance. Food will be available to purchase before tournament. Lots of other event contests and prizes including; longest drive, closest to the pin contests, putting contest, and more. 2 complementary golfers. In 2015, Brothers John Fay, Steve Gonnella, Larry Noska and Fred Albi conceived the idea of promoting and organizing an annual charity golf tournament as a way to raise funds for community groups and our council. This was the largest amount the Knights ever raised at this event. This year's event will be held at the beautiful Serrano Country Club in El Dorado Hills, CA. A celebrity long drive and trick shot demonstration will be performed at the driving range before the start of the tournament. In 2021, the tournament generated over $27k in gross revenue.
