A great book to follow up and read to learn more about connecting with your child and helping them heal from trauma is The Connected Child by Dr. Karen Purvis. This will be a really neat opportunity for our families. The journey is not meant to be traveled alone, and though sometimes complicated and hard, there is hope and help. You only need to register once for the series. We will take an in depth look of trauma and the impact it has on a child's brain development, sensory processing, ability to self regulate and attachment behaviors.
