During the 15th episode of "Reborn Rich, " Do Jun makes another trap for his family and they all fall for it one by one, with this trap he set up, he exposes their corruption and puts them front and center amid severe public backlash and calls from the people to punish Soonyang for their crimes of embezzlement and such. The next day, while his grandfather and his uncles are discussing who to support in the coming presidential election, Do Jun shows up and says that Roh Tae Woo is going to win. When he finds himself in a spot, he often doesn't speak immediately, which I feel is wise, because that gives him time to assess the situation, and think about what to say or do next. Other than that, he is approached in college by members of an exclusive club for the rich and privileged, and they ask him to join them for dinner later. It feels like that knowledge, that he wouldn't have to sell Soonyang Motors; that Soonyang Motors' name is now newly glorious, thanks to Do Jun's strategy, is what he needed to hear, in order to go in peace. There are things in our story that niggle at me because they don't quite add up, but because of where our story ends up, it eventually makes sense, why this might be the case. Through most of our story, there've been glimmers of interest, but nothing that would suggest Fated Love to me, certainly. It turns out that Shin Kyung-Min was the one who led the search for him, and told him that he was only following orders.
Not only does he look a fair bit like Song Joong Ki, features-wise, Kim Kang Hoon's mannerisms and way of speaking mirror very well, the way Song Joong Ki plays Hyun Woo. Also, wouldn't it be interesting to see Do Jun make a mistake? It's a set-up that feels potentially juicy for development, with Hyun Woo now having his whole life ahead of him, as a young Jin Do Jun, but with all his experience, knowledge and memories intact. We expect the exact details of it to be revealed going forward, but for now, we can guess that Hando Steel in the hands of his uncle would have given him a lot of power, which would have seriously hampered Do Jun's future prospects. But then, the way Do Jun gets on his hands and knees, and personally wipes it all up, just amplifies it by a hundred, I feel like. Seong Jun here presents a complicated character. Here's one key example of Show's oddly light touch in terms of the emotional stuff, and then I share a couple of examples where Show demonstrates that it can offer emotional heft, when it wants to. He sees Hae-In and Yoon-Ki. Miraculously, Hyeon-woo wakes up in the body of Jin Do-joon, the youngest grandson of the Soonyang family and the son of Yoon-ki and Hae-in. Setting aside the question of his capability as raised by his father, he seems to be someone torn between his morals. Yoon Hyun-Woo reports his discovery to Kim Ju-Ryeon. Hyeon-woo then plays the recording of the day he witnessed Do-jun die, revealing that Young-ki instigated it. It's so great to see how Do Jun manages to win Grandpa Jin's trust and favor, one step at a time. He gets off the car and walks in his wife's help.
