In Step 12, we will be discussing "carrying the message to those who still suffer and practicing these principles in all our affairs. Practice These Principles In All Our Affairs Ministry
Even the most meeting-minded member has to pass many hours of the day when he is alone and must depend on his own inner strength. My prayer for my AA contemporaries and myself is that we may to the end remain, in Tennyson's words, "Strong in will / To strive, to seek, to find and not to yield. Meditation for today: Sometimes there will be pressures – ties when it will seem like there are powers much greater at work than we can defend ourselves against. Consider participating in a spiritually-focused fellowship group. It means that we can practice finding a voice to add to the dialogue of life. It is the program's prescription for the good life, a life of spiritual growth and emotional sobriety that we share with our fellows, helping to bring healing to the alcoholic and to others who suffer in our midst.
