Furthermore, no one believes Lauren, but Detective Harper, a police officer feels that there might be something to Lauren's story. Bay and Ally throw a party to pay the electric bill. It is the type of book where you do not get all the answers and must interpret for yourself what actually happened in the final pages. I'm a bit disappointed with the time jump because I wanted to see all of their adventures, we got a snippet but it wasn't enough, hopefully we'll get to see some fun flashbacks next season. It doesn't put anything to the story, just occupy the place something exciting. She is exhausted, she is constantly feeding her babies, she can't find time for a shower, she can't possibly think of finding a way to venture out of the house with the boys to get groceries.

Lauren is truly terrified for the majority of this book and that really got under my skin. TW: Mental Illness, Murder, Use of the word Cr*zy. I decided I give it 3 stars. After that I stopped thinking about it, because I had to, in order to survive. Creepy, haunting, addictive and atmospheric! Grab the book and start turning pages! Pure taboo swapped at birthday. Supernatural elements are usually a turn-off for me, but they were presented in such an intriguing and fascinating way, that I was completely drawn into the plot and invested in the characters. I desperately wanted to know what happens. I read it from cover to cover without breathing. They seem to have little to no friends except a soon-to-be mother's group who drops off peculiar gifts. Well that is the set up for the rest of the story which I found to be engrossing.

5 rounded up 4 stars because the writing style, story-telling were really captivating and of course it was great adaptation of an eerie, bleak fairy-tale. Riley and Morgan are abducted in the park. At 25%, I was getting so mad. Lauren is tired and stressed like all new mothers, but she knows the woman is real. Definitely worth a read, you'll find hidden gems in the life lessons and fairy tale history we learn along the path. As a result: I went back and forth between 3 and 4 and my waltz moves ended at 3. A terrible hemorrhage post-birth provided an additional trauma and now she finds herself in constant pain, alone and questioning her ability to handle motherhood. I read this book with the Traveling Sisters. Pure taboo swapped at birth defects. But she knows what she saw: that night, in her hospital room, a woman tried to take her babies and replace them with her own…creatures. But in the end I was wrong.

When I was finishing, I instantly gave it 2 stars. Anyways, Quinn is totally playing her and basically saying that being with him and the internship are a pac kage deal. After she returns home, she refuses to leave the babies alone for even a few minutes. Other than that, this is a super tense story, very eerie and atmospheric, and despite the slightly disappointing and ambiguous conclusion, it left me with a lingering feeling of poignancy long after the final page was turned. This book rolled out as a truly creepy read that had me keeping several lights in the house shining bright as I huddled in the corner of my sofa, shaking while I read on. Notice, I said subtly. There were short sections with traditional folktales that gave the novel a darker tone. Bay gets a mysterious phone call and it's crazy enough for them to have to pick up and go home. If I had one con to point out in this story it would be with the narrative for Detective Harper. And those were just the big things - it seemed like everyone had something crazy going on and the episode left everyone's future more uncertain than ever. When Lauren discharges home from the hospital, fear for her babies keeps her firmly locked in her home. That one you feel, all at once the second they're born, like nothing you've ever experienced before. S5 E10 - Long Live Love.
Imagine in the middle of the night on the very day of their birth a vile woman invades your hospital room and insists on swapping your babies for hers. Though there was something of a slow start, it soon picks up pace and let me just say, it doesn't get much creepier than this! Hiding in the bathroom of her hospital room, she is able to call for help. Everything else I was reading took a backseat to this scrumptious tale. The first night of her babies' birth, she hears and sees a dirty woman in the area next to hers, singing a horrid song, while a basket with the woman's "twins" surrounded by rags, sits at the woman's feet. And finally, I just want to say that you need to read this book. During her hospitalization Lauren is sure that she sees and hears a dirty, rag covered woman showing her a basket of what looked like baby rats and singing an unusual song. "The child is not mine as the first was, I cannot sing it to rest, I cannot lift it up fatherly and bliss it upon my breast; Yet it lies in my little one's cradle, And sits in my little one's chair, And the light of the heaven she's gone to transfigures its golden hair. " I honestly have no idea what to expect for the future but it seems like the show is moving in a different and interesting direction.
