Green Book even copies Driving Miss Daisy 's attempt at symbolism only takes itself too seriously. This film will make you feel good. The film is unfortunately a prime example of typical Oscar bate, only designed to appeal to the Academy, but when you actually watch it, you wonder why this film is so good. Like Miss Daisy herself, Academy voters, and many Americans then and now, want to take it slow. It is marred by only two curses, which were not in the play, but probably inserted to warrant the PG rating.
