With Dallas Toler-Wade, the great Tony Laureano, and of course the mighty Karl Sanders, you can be sure that this album is an extremely accomplished piece of music. After all, what I'm left with after each listening of In Their Darkened Shrines is CANDLEMASS' "The Well Of Souls". Crims quoted 97 / 100|. Songs like "Sarcophagus" and "Execration Text" pull you in with their lurid lyrics, while the music excites the senses, shifting from rampaging & technical death metal to slower, doomier dirges.
